Paul Hooykaas, Special Projects & Technical Expert, Micromine

For ten years, he mainly worked on engineering and hydrographic projects across the globe, including New Zealand, Samoa, Holland, Germany, Algeria, Singapore, and Australia – transitioning from fieldwork to computer programming over that time.

When Micromine was established in Perth in 1986, Paul was one of two programmers employed by the company. In the 1990s, Paul began managing the software development process, and in 2002, he established Micromine’s office in Brisbane, Australia.
