I have worked as a mining geologist/mining geology manager/mining geology consultant throughout Australia, PNG, Indonesia and Tanzania for over 35 years mostly in gold and underground mining. I initiated the introduction of UGRC at Sunrise Dam in WA in 2012 and managed its introduction at Geita Gold Mines in Tanzania. At Sunrise all grade control is now completed by RC – with five rigs that have drilled nearly 2 million metres.
