JORC Code, 2012 Edition
Release of Supporting Documents

The JORC Committee is pleased to announce the release of a number of new documents to support the effective implementation of the JORC Code, 2012 Edition.

The following documents have now been released and available on the JORC website (www.jorc.org/about.asp):

  • Media release
  • Summary of changes between 2004 and 2012 Editions of the JORC Code
  • 'Side by side' comparison of 2004 & 2012 Editions of the JORC Code
  • Summary of comments on the Exposure Draft Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves as released for comment September 2012
  • Table 1 reporting template for the JORC Code, 2012 Edition (provided to assist with reporting against Table 1 of the Code on an 'if not, why not' basis).

In addition, a Competent Person's Consent Form for the 2012 Edition is also available on the JORC website (http://www.jorc.org/competent.asp). 

More details about the planned program of seminars and workshops to support the implementation of the 2012 Edition of the JORC Code will be available soon.
