The Geo-Computing 2010 conference is designed to provide all geoscientists with up-to-date information on computer uses and abuses within the industry. The conference will be held over three days, comprising two days of technical presentations, followed by a day of specialised industry workshops, presented by industry leaders. In parallel with the first two days, a trade exhibition will be held. There is also be a GOCAD pre-conference workshop (27^th-28^th).

Conference sessions will be introduced via key note presentations from recognised industry experts; including best practice, case studies and emerging developments in the themes of:

Computer applications in target generation, exploration and mining
Intelligent use of multidisciplinary data sets in GIS compilations
3D modelling in geophysics and its integration with geological models
Database protocols, data migration, functionality and data sources
Future developments and directions of hardware and software
Statutory reporting and compliance requirements
