AIG is an Edumine Affiliate.  Edumine provides high quality, peer reviewed continued professional development resources and opportunities for mining professional study through an expanding range of short courses available for on-line study.  Students are able to access course materials at any time, from anywhere in the world with Internet access is available, providing a highly flexible environment for self paced distance learning.

Edumine provides:

  • continued professional development through acquisition of knowledge presented in a formal context;
  • meeting the CPD requirements of professional registration programs run by professional institutes, such as AIG's RPGeo program;
  • a source of technical reference material and information that enhances the ability of participants to achieve their professional / employment objectives.

All Edumine courses are subject to a review and approval process that ensures topical, high quality courses by collaborating with academic and professional institutions, specialist consultants and industry on topic selection and course development, and subjecting courses to peer review and strict quality control.

Efficient delivery of courses and a high degree of interactivity of course content is achieved by employing state-of-the-art Internet and Web technologies.
