Handheld XRF Workshop - Brisbane, March 2009
This professional development workshop was organised by the Queensland Branch of the AIG and was a half-day, practical workshop aimed at impending, new and existing users of handheld XRF instruments for geochemical applications.
Presentations included the theory and practicality of using portable XRF systems, demonstrations from two leading manufacturers, five case studies from existing users and issues associated with how results from handheld XRF instruments are publicly reported.
